LCRA-Luling – Waelder

Location: Waelder, Texas

Upgrading the 12.6 mile 69 kV stretch between substations, to 138 kV. This consists of replacing 112 structures. In addition to the conductor upgrade, the scope includes the installation of OPGW shield wire from Waelder Substation to Fatonia Substation. The construction of this project will be done on Energized transmission lines.
