Consisting of 80 miles of new OPGW cable on existing 230kV structures. We also performed 26 splices and structure modifications.
Construction of a new 230kV steel transmission line spanning 13.5 miles with 101 foundations. This project had very strict environmental and landowner restrictions. Probst completed the project with no incidences and still delivered our high-quality craftsmanship.
Installed and spliced approximately 25,000 circuit feet of 3-1/C 750C, 15kV, EPR-insulated cables, and 4/0 copper bare conductor. Beginning May 2020, this California project took us roughly three months.
Starting in January 2019 and finishing in December 2019, Probst Electric, along with Nova Group Inc., undertook a joint venture to install conductors in underground duct banks for Lawrence Livermore National Labs in Livermore California.
