Probst Electric was subcontracted to Ludvik Electric to perform over three miles of duct bank installation, medium voltage (MV) conductor/splice/termination installation for highly secure Government installation. This project is similar to the LLNL EEDS project in many ways.
Procurement and Installation of 1200 amp 12.5 kV Switchgear, Pad mount switches, pad mount transformers, over 350 12.5 kV terminations, 21 miles of 15 kV cable in concrete encased duct bank, 23 miles of 600v cable in existing buildings, and light poles. Constructed 1800 sqft metal electrical building.
Underground distribution upgrade. Convert from 4160 and 7200 to 12470. 25 miles of excavation, conduit, installation and wire pulling.
Upgrade electrical distribution for the U of U campus. Install 85 new switches, 4 new transformers, and rebuild 3 substations.
Provide and install low voltage raceways for telecom, security, and PA systems in South Concourse West of the new SLC Airport.
